It’s final exam time, and stress abounds. Protocols and year ends need to be finished, lab tests and written finals, projects galore. There are many books, articles, and posts on dealing with stressful times, most of them having really good advice.
With lots of experience with Finals let me leave you with some personal advice.
First and foremost set aside time to study and make it sufficient. Don’t leave it until the night before.
Remove yourself from distractions. Study at the library or other quiet areas if home is to distracting. Vice Versa if home is your quiet place to study then stay there.
Say NO to Social Media. Take a break from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, Tumblr. Stumble Upon and all those other distractions. Many shut off social media for the week before and during finals to make sure distractions from studying are at a minimum.
Remember: it is only a week. It is not the end of the world. (Unless your final is on Dec. 21, then the Mayans may decide otherwise)
Take advantage of Tutoring. They are here to help you.
Put you all into studying and it will pay off in the end.
Good Luck and prepare well!
